6 lb Bone in Pork shoulder
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 bay leaf
3 clove garlic
2 cup vegetables (celery carrots bell pepper onions)
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 cup wheat beer

Mix spices.


Chop vegetables.


Add spices to meat.


Pour in vegetables, water and beer (optional.)


Cover and put on low for at least 6 hours or more, until meat falls easily off the bone.


Very tender and juicy at 10 hours on low:


Yielded enough for two meals and great pork veggie stock for soups.
