griddled pineapple

Ingredients griddled pineapple


1 pineapple peeled cored and sliced thickly lengthwise
1/2 tsp vegetable oil or cooking spray
1 tbsp clear honey per serving
1 plain or coconut Greek yogurt or ice cream to serve

how to make griddled pineapple


Heat a cast iron griddle pan on a medium high heat. Brush with oil, or spray on cooking spray


Place the pineapple slices in the griddle, and griddle on all sides for up to a minute, getting char lines on them.


Put the pineapple in serving dishes, pour 1 tbsp honey over each serving.


Finish off with Greek yogurt or ice cream.
