homemade calzones

Ingredients homemade calzones


1 can Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust dough
1 1/3 cup pizza sauce
1 packages pepperoni
1 bell pepper (thinly sliced)
1 can sliced black olives
1 * any pizza topping
1 packages mozzarella cheese
1 egg beaten

how to make homemade calzones


Preheat oven to 400°


Roll out pizza dough onto baking sheet. Cut dough into 4 sections.


Put a large (2-3 tbls) dollop of pizza sauce on each dough section. Spread sauce on section.


Add preferred pizza toppings.


Fold dough over to enclose ingredients. Use a fork to close edges. Brush calzones with beaten egg( makes it shiny and brown nicely).


Add about 1/4 c. mozzarella cheese


Cook for 15 minutes.


Refrigerate leftovers.
