mole poblano

Ingredients mole poblano


1/4 stick cinnamon
1/4 tsp cumin seed
6 Japanese chile pods
5 California chile pods
1/2 circle of abuelita mexican chocolate
2 whole cloves
1 handful of peanuts
1 tbsp sesame seeds
4 cup chicken broth
1 salt to taste
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp oil

how to make mole poblano


char all dry ingredients except salt garlic and chocolate


add all ingredients to blender, blend, slowly adding broth. blend until very smooth


salt to taste


in a pot add oil and heat, when heated add mole and let slowly come to a boil then simmer 10 minutes


serve over chicken or torta de camaron
