Ingredients tinklees fruit cocktail cake
2 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 can fruit cocktail with juice (16oz)
topping
1/4 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

sift flour, baking soda, and salt together in a small bowl
in a large bowl beat eggs until light in color, then slowly add sugar, beat until light and fluffy
add dry ingredients alternating with fruit cocktail (with juice)
combine brown sugar and nuts
pour cake batter into a greased 9x13 pan and sprinkle with the brown sugar and nuts mixture
bake at 350*F for 30--35mins
